This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of Athanasso (referred to as "We", "Us", "Our", or "Developer") regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use the Eortologio mobile application (the "Service", or "App").

Interpretation and Definitions

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

Eortologio is a Greek Name Day app. The App itself does not collect or store personal identifiable information like your name, address, or email on our servers. Your favorite names and preferences are stored locally on your device.

However, the App relies on third-party services that may collect data:

Greek Nameday API: Used to fetch name day data (today's names, upcoming dates, search results). API queries are not linked to your personal identity.
Advertising Data: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App for free-tier users. AdMob may collect and use advertising IDs and usage data to provide relevant ads. Premium users who have upgraded to an ad-free experience are not served ads.
In-App Purchases: We use RevenueCat to manage premium subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat securely processes transaction histories but does not share your sensitive payment details with us.
Usage Data: Anonymous usage data and crash reports may be collected automatically by third-party tools to help us improve the App's performance and stability.

Permissions Required by the App

To provide its functionality, Eortologio requests the following permissions on your device:

Notifications: Used to send you local alerts for your favorite names' name days and the optional morning digest notification. You can manage or disable these at any time from the app's Settings or your device notification settings.
Internet Access: Required to fetch name day data from the Greek Nameday API and to load advertisements for free-tier users.

Your selected favorites, preference settings, and cached name day data are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

Retention of Your Data

Because the Developer (Athanasso) does not collect personal data directly through the Eortologio app, we do not inherently store personal records. Any aggregated anonymous data and crash logs collected via third-party services are retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of monitoring and improving the Service.
